Let's be honest for a second. If you looked at our early website, you'd see a very different vibe, a dark, "clinical" looking capsule vibe. It looked serious. It looked like a pharmacy. Honestly, it looked like every other supplement brand trying to act "medical."
But when Safah and I sat down to actually build Haqq Health, we realised wellness shouldn't feel like a chore or a prescription. It should be something you look forward to. That's how we ended up with the Pink Teddy Bear.
Why a teddy bear?
We know what you're thinking: "Why is a serious halal brand using a teddy bear shape?"
It came down to a conversation at our kitchen table. We were looking at generic, round gummies that looked like they'd come off a mass-production line, the kind of factory that probably also handles food you don't want to be eating. They felt cold.
We wanted a shape that represented care. A teddy bear is a universal symbol of trust and comfort, something you keep close to your hear. Your body is an a trust of god, and we wanted to wrap the Haqq Standard in a shape that felt approachable, not intimidating. A small daily act of kindness to yourself.
The story behind the pink
Then came the colour. Our branding is all about Deep Red and Luxury Gold, passion and a premium standard. But the gummies themselves? They had to be strawberry pink. Safah was adamant.
We tested dozens of natural colourings because we refused to use artificial dyes like Red 40 or E120 (carmine), which often isn't halal-compliant. We finally landed on a blend of natural berry extracts that gave the bears that vibrant pink hue.
So it became a visual promise. When you see that pink teddy bear, you know:

We moved away from the "pill and medicinal" imagery because we wanted to be transparent. We don't hide our collagen in a dark capsule. We put it front and centre in a shape that makes you smile when you open the bottle.
